La 29ª edición anual de los Critics Choice Awards 2024 celebró este domingo 14 de enero en el Barker Hangar del Aeropuerto de Santa Mónica, California. La gala, organizada por la Asociación de Críticos (CCA), conformada por especialistas de Estados Unidos y Canadá, premió a lo mejor del cine y la televisión del año pasado.
En el ámbito del cine, Oppenheimer, la ambiciosa cinta de Christopher Nolan sobre el creador de la bomba atómica, destacó como la gran ganadora de la noche, llevándose a casa un total de ocho premios, incluyendo las categorías a Mejor película, Mejor director, Mejor conjunto actoral y Mejor actor de reparto.
En el lado televisivo, las series The Bear (Star+), Succession (HBO Max) y Beef (Netflix) fueron las más premiadas de la ceremonia. Cada una se llevó el galardón a Mejor serie de comedia, Mejor serie dramática y Mejor miniserie, respectivamente, además de recibir múltiples premios en las categorías de actuación.
